Our client is an internationally operating industrial company in a technologically demanding environment. A new production facility is being established in Bulgaria, and for its successful implementation, an experienced Project Manager with a focus on industrialization & logistics is being sought.

In this strategically responsible role, you will report directly to the Management Board and/or the Steering Committee and ensure the consistent, on-time implementation of a defined industrialization and logistics concept.

Your responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the operational implementation of the existing industrialization and logistics concept
• Active project management with a clear focus on timelines, costs, and sustainable implementation of measures
• Creation, maintenance, and tracking of a detailed project plan (milestones, dependencies, risks)
• Coordination and leadership of interdisciplinary teams from
  • Production, logistics, engineering, quality, IT, and procurement
  • external partners as well as international stakeholders
• Moderation of project meetings, decision-making sessions, and escalations
• Ensuring the implementation of the industrialization concept across all production lines and support through to stable series production
• Hands-on management during ramp-up issues as well as ensuring a structured handover to the production and industrialization team
• Implementation and assurance of efficient logistics processes (intralogistics, warehousing, material supply, interfaces)
• Ensuring smooth material flow and concept-compliant logistics equipment
• Strategic oversight of interconnected projects and programs to ensure achievement of corporate objectives
• Overall responsibility for the business case and profit and loss (VIST) throughout the entire program lifecycle
• Cost center responsibility including RC/NRC costs, failure costs, delivery performance, and revenue
• Drafting, negotiating, and signing offers and amendments with clients
• Managing risk and change management at program level
• Consolidation of all sub-project plans into an integrated overall program plan
• Decision-making responsibility for critical issues regarding costs, quality, and timelines
• Resource management, development of a team strategy, and promotion of a sustainable team culture while ensuring knowledge transfer

Your profile as the ideal candidate:

• Completed degree in mechanical engineering, engineering, or business administration
• At least 5 years of experience in program or project management, ideally in an industrial environment
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating business proposals as well as contract negotiations
• Sound understanding of industrial, technical, and commercial interrelations as well as the ability to structure and prioritize them
• Strong customer orientation and confident presence towards internal and external stakeholders
• Very good English language skills, both written and spoken
• PMI PMP certification or comparable qualification is an advantage
• Strong communication skills and experience in a multicultural environment
• High level of decision-making ability, assertiveness, and the ability to effectively manage and influence teams and stakeholders
