Product Research Associate (Native Bulgarian)

We are Geobuyer, a mobile app startup expanding into the Bulgarian market. We are looking for a native Bulgarian speaker based in Sofia to join us as a Product Research Associate. You will help us deeply understand our users' needs, pain points, and willingness to pay in Bulgaria.

The Task: Your primary objective is to engage with people who have already shown interest in our product. This is NOT a sales job. Warm Contacts Only: You will only reach out to leads who have already engaged with Geobuyer or left their contact information. There is zero cold calling. Customer Interviews: - Conduct 15–20 minute structured interviews via online video calls. - Field Research: Conduct on-site visits to retail stores or restaurants in Sofia. Your goal is to observe how potential business clients interact with our app in real scenarios. Since our target business network is concentrated in the capital, your local presence is crucial. - Validation: A key part of your role is to validate our business model. You will ask insightful questions to determine if our functionality truly solves the user's problems and whether our proposed pricing reflects the value they receive. We need to hear their honest opinion on "price-to-value" fit. What You Will Do: - Contact warm leads to schedule feedback sessions. - Guide business owners through the app (remotely or on-site in Sofia). - Actively listen, probe deeper into their pain points, and document their feedback. - Help us analyze whether the product is a "must-have" or "nice-to-have" for the Bulgarian market. Requirements: - Native Bulgarian speaker (Fluent, natural, culturally aware). - Residency in Sofia, Bulgaria: You must be based in the capital, as our field research and target business network are concentrated there. - Conversational English for reporting to the product team. - Empathy and active listening: You must be able to hold a natural conversation. - Analytical mindset: You aren't just reading a script; you are gathering data to help us build a better product. - Availability during Bulgarian business hours. What We Provide: - A pre-qualified list of interested users/leads. - A structured questionnaire and research goals. - Detailed product context (you will be an expert on what we do) Specific Workflow & Deliverables: Specific Workflow & Deliverables: 1. Presentation & Feedback. Conduct a presentation and receive feedback (in the form of "I am ready to buy at this price" or "I am not ready, and here is why..."). 2. Video Recording. Provide a video recording of the process so that we can analyze how exactly the client used the service. 3. Personal Insights. Provide brief feedback from you on what exactly needs to be improved based on your interaction with the client (the volume and format of the feedback are not critical). 4. Client Email Confirmation. Obtain an email from the client in the format: "I am ready to buy at this price, here are my contact details so you can provide me with a month for free..." or "I am not ready to buy because..." or "I am ready, but only if you fix this..."
