— starting with an apartment search, room to grow

Hi!
I'm relocating to Sofia this summer — I run a small international business and I'll be living and working here — and I'm looking for a reliable, switched-on virtual assistant based in or near Sofia to help me land smoothly, and ideally to keep working with me on an ongoing basis.

THE FIRST TASK (concrete, paid, right away)
Help me find a furnished apartment to rent: search the platforms and local listings, build a shortlist with the key details and photos, contact owners/agents, and arrange viewings for me around mid-June. I'll give you a clear brief on exactly what I'm after, so you won't be guessing.

WHERE IT CAN GO (if we click)
If the first task goes well — and I hope it does — the role can grow into ongoing support, for example:
- General admin— email, scheduling, research, organizing documents
- Relocation help — paperwork, registrations, dealing with local institutions and service providers
- Liaising with my accountant and helping keep my bookkeeping organized (you won't be doing the accounting itself, but experience in that world is a real plus)
- The occasional in-person errand in Sofia

WHO I'M LOOKING FOR -
Based in or near Sofia, OK with the occasional in-person task
- Fluent English, native or fluent Bulgarian
- Organized, reliable and proactive — someone who flags problems early and gets things done without being chased
- Honest. I genuinely prefer straight talk over being told what I want to hear.

- Bonus: experience with relocation, real estate, or bookkeeping/accounting

HOW IT WORKS
I'd like to start with the apartment search as a small paid trial, handled here through Freelance.bg, so we both get a feel for working together before committing to anything bigger.
Flexible hours, mostly remote with some in-person work in Sofia.
